universal copper announces changes to the board of directors
Vancouver, British Columbia, March 1st, 2021 - Universal Copper Ltd. (“Universal Copper" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: UNV) (Frankfurt: 3TA2) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Brandon Rook B.Sc., B.A., to the Board of Directors and a member of the audit committee of the Company.

Mr. Rook has had an extensive career in the mining industry with over 25 years experience working as an exploration geologist, an executive in the roles of President, CEO, director and advisory roles for multiple TSX-V listed companies, in addition to a strong background working in corporate and business development capacities for numerous companies. Brandon is currently CEO of Organimax Nutrient Corp, and a director for Nexco Resources and Cliffmont Resources. He has been responsible for raising over $100 million dollars to date. Mr. Rook holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in geology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in economics and sociology.
Mr. Rook stated, “I am pleased to join the Company as a member of the Board. I am excited to be assisting in the continued advancement of the Company's flagship Poplar Project and I look forward to adding more shareholder value identifying additional copper focused assets."
Mr. Rook fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Alexander Helmel as a director and member of the audit committee. Mr. Helmel will continue to serve the Company in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer.
